was founded in the fall of 1999 by Rick Haywood on the first day of his retirement from the Toronto District School Board. The previous 35 years in education, which culminated in his role as an elementary school principal, led him to focus on the needs of principals,teachers and others in the educational community.
The first major thrust was to source tokens of appreciation that school and community leaders could give the teachers in recognition of their contribution to society.
As time passed, the product lines expanded on demand by people in school.
Currently,the major focus is the provision of high quality and effective professional develepment programs and products.
CentreSource Systems, a California company, is the publisher of TRIBES - the very popular and effective program of creating and maintaining positive cultures in classroom,school and communities.
